Maksymilian Gorski of Papillon Art Solutions originally hails from Warsaw, Poland. His interest in European art and architecture developed during his travels throughout Europe as a young man, affording him the opportunity to experience the great splendor of countries like Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Russia, Lithuania and Ukraine.
In 2000, Max came to the U.S. to pursue a career as a Venetian plaster applicator. He began by working for other artists and applicators of Venetian plaster who taught him the secrets of the trade. The moment that Max was introduced to Safra plasters, he decided to put his own name behind it. The look, commitment to quality, and the history that Safra plasters stand for made him realize that this was the product he wanted to work with. Max was thus inspired to enroll in the School of Italian Plasters in Atlanta, GA, where he would receive the instruction of professionals who has already been working with Safra products for years.
Soon after graduating, Max opened his own company, Papillon Art Solutions. Papillon Art Solutions has enjoyed the opportunity to complete Venetian plaster jobs throughout New York, New Jersey and Florida, including work for such prestigious clients as the Debartolo family of Tampa. Max also frequently partners with Tampa muralist Jason Hulfish to provide a full range of decorative services.
Max uses Safra plasters to recreate the wall decoration systems which were used in all of the Italian art cities, particularly Venice during its years of greatest splendor. As an artist, his goal is to transform every project into a work of art that is unique and one-of-a-kind. Papillon Art Solutions supports Safra's commitment to producing authentic Italian Plasters that will last a lifetime.
